Reaching out to the hip-hop culture with the Good News of Jesus Christ in a non-traditional atmosphere
Our Mission EXALTATION: Headz Up exists to offer believers the opportunity to worship and glorify God together in their culture of Hip Hop. EDIFICATION: Headz Up exists to help disciple believers to build a biblical foundation in their lives, through Bible study, devotionals, discovery of spiritual gifts and fellowship. We will encourage believers to become participating members of the body of Christ. EVANGELISM: Headz Up exists to reach people who are facing a Christ-less eternity. Our target group is the Hip Hop culture of the Los Angeles area. Members of the body are encouraged to seek out the un-churched as the Holy Spirit has sought them out, and to look for opportunities to share Christ's love. SOCIAL ACTION: Headz Up exists to act as a conscience to Hip Hop culture and beyond by demonstrating the love and righteousness of God in word and deed.
